Match Report: VCF Femenino beat Deportivo Alavés (1-0)

VCF Femenino came out looking to take the game to the opposition piling pressure on Deportivo Alavés in all areas of the pitch contesting and winning the majority of the tussles for the ball.    

 Salmi brought menace down the left-hand side as Aguado was a nuisance for the opposition defence with the home side breaking into the opposition box regularly and only lacking a cutting edge in the final third.  

Salmi broke the deadlock from 12 yards out and Aguado came close to adding a second but was denied by Cristina on 37 minutes.  

VCF Femenino managed to stand tall and took a 1-0 lead into the interval. 

Enith pulled off a brilliant save to keep out a top-corner bound effort. Enith kept the scoreline at 1-0 over the hour mark to stop a dangerous header from going in. Bea Beltrán responded at the other end from a free-kick. 

The rest of the game was played out with no further incidents and VCF Femenino picked up back to back wins.
